BISSONET DRIVE BRIDGE CLOSURE

JEFFERSON, LA – On Monday, June 17, 2024, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, the Bissonet Drive Bridge at West Canal Avenue will be closed to perform asphalt repairs.

Motorists trying to access Veterans Boulevard should detour east on Kawanee Avenue, south on Transcontinental Drive and return to Veterans. Motorists on Veterans Boulevard wanting to cross the Bissonet Bridge should detour north on Transcontinental Drive to westbound Kawanee Avenue to reach their destination.
