LANE CLOSURES
WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE & PAPWORTH AVENUE

JEFFERSON, LA – Starting Thursday, September 17, 2020, the right eastbound lane of W. Esplanade Ave. and the southbound lane of Papworth Ave. will be closed. This closure is not on a continuous basis; work will be done between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., daily.

Motorists traveling eastbound on W. Esplanade Ave. will use the open travel lane. Motorists traveling southbound on Papworth Ave. will detour to Carrollton Ave.

The closure is necessary to install a ramp and adjust a manhole at 1540 Papworth Ave. at a cost of $7,121.50. Work is scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 2, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
