The Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department will partner with NOLA Families in Need to host Christmas for the Kids on Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 3-7 p.m., at Pontiff Playground (1521 Palm St., Metairie, LA 70001).

LANE CLOSURE: WEST ESPLANADE AVENUE AT NORTH WOODLAWN AVENUE
On Monday, Nov. 27 and Friday, Dec. 8 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., weather permitting, the eastbound left lane of W. Esplanade Ave. at N. Woodlawn Ave. will be closed.
PARC DES FAMILLES DISC GOLF COURSE AND MOUTAIN BIKE TRAIL CLOSED
The Parc des Familles Disc Golf Course and Mountain Bike Trail will be closed today, Tuesday, Nov. 21 and will reopen to the public on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023 for normal operations.
JEFFERSON PARISH OFFICES CLOSED ON THURSDAY, NOV. 23 AND FRIDAY, NOV. 24 IN OBSERVANCE OF THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
All Jefferson Parish Government offices, including the Jefferson Protection & Animal Welfare Services (JPAWS) and the East and West Jefferson American Job Centers, will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
EASTBOUND LANE OF VETERANS BOULEVARD, BETWEEN HESPER AVENUE AND HELIOS AVENUE TO BE CLOSED
For the safety of workers forming and pouring new driveway aprons, the eastbound lane of Veterans Blvd., between Hesper Ave. and Helios Ave., will be closed.
