Procedure for Payoff Requests and Obtaining Lien Releases

• Requests for payoffs on liens, orders, and judgments in favor of the Parish of Jefferson may be obtained by providing the following:
  • Name, address, telephone number, fax number, email of person or entity requesting the information
  • Municipal address of the property for which a payoff quote is requested
  • Copies of the encumbrances will expedite our response
   

• The above information may be mailed, emailed, or faxed as follows (requests via email are preferred):

• When multiple payoff requests are made for a single property, only the first request received will be processed.

   

• A response can be expected within ten business days of our receipt of the request.

   

• Releases will not be provided until ALL VIOLATIONS ARE CLEARED AND ALL AMOUNTS DUE ARE PAID AND CLEARED.
